Intended opening hours 8am to 9am and 1:50pm to
5pm
Siobhan and Emma are running the kids club
independently of the school and all enquiries should be addressed to them. We
will have our own insurance and policies.
The service will commence on Monday September 4th
at 8am. However, we will not be in a position to offer this service to Junior
infants until their full school days have commenced.
We will follow the HFNS school calendar, opening
when they do. We will open early to facilitate in service days when the school
closes at 1:30. We will not open on days when the school closes at 12. We will
not open if the school closes for weather/ building issues or any other reason
when the school may be required to remain closed.
Homework: We will supervise and help with all
written homework, however parents will be required to complete reading, check
and sign homework. If you do not want your childs homework to be done in kids
club, please advise of same.
Children are welcome to bring any snacks they
require during their time in kids club. Holy family National school is a nut
free zone so we will be maintaining this policy.
We will be rostering staff based on bookings,
therefore prebooking is preferable. We require fortnightly bookings to ensure
staff ratios are maintained. However last-minute changes and bookings will
always be facilitated once we can maintain ratios.
Drop off and collections will take place from the
GP hall external doors, located on the left rear of the building.
Children with additional medical needs or those
who avail of an SNA during school hours will be facilitated where possible. If
you have any queries please speak to us and we will be happy to help if
possible.
We will be participating in the NCS (National
Childcare Scheme) where every child will be entitled to the universal €1.40
reduction per hour. This would reduce the hourly fee to €4.60. Also there is an
option to chose an ‘Income assessed’ subsidy where you may get a larger hourly
reduction. All information can be found on ncs.gov.ie
