Dear Parents,
ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
Last Sunday 10th March we took part in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Rathmore and won ‘Best Float’. The Frank Buckley Memorial Cup 2019 is in the trophy cabinet.  The theme was ‘Education: Past, Present and Future’.  Congratulations, well done and thanks to all who helped decorate the float on Sunday morning and who braved the elements to do so.  We wish to thank all the pupils of Holy Family N.S. who took part in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  The children were very well behaved and were a credit to the school.  We wish to thank Paudie Cronin of MC Group for the use of the lorry for the occasion. A special thank you to Pádraig Moynihan and the teachers who prepared the children so well in the weeks running up to the parade.  Congrats to all!!

FIRST CONFESSION
First Confession takes place on Wed. 13th March at 8pm (after mass) in the church.  The choir is practising for the night and we would like as many children as possible to attend.

LEE STRAND
We are very grateful to Lee Strand who have provided free homework journals to our school for the past 4 years.  Last year there was a great response from all the pupils and we were able to get free homework journals for everyone.  We need 10 tokens either Mighty Mike tokens from Lee Strand Milk cartons and bottles or the bar code from Dawn Dairies cartons and bottles for each homework journal.    I know that some children have brought in tokens since September and there is a great response again this year.  We need as many tokens as possible and if you have more tokens please keep bringing them in. Thank You.
