Our school has begun the process of working towards achieving the Active School Flag this year. This process will involve a number of active initiatives during the year culminating in an Active School Week in the early Summer. As some parental involvement would be required, we would be grateful if all parents could be supportive of our attempt to obtain the Active Flag.

The Active School committee for 2015-2016:

We had the Launch Day for ASF on Friday the 11th of December. Thank you to our sixth class pupils who taught each class the Macarena the previous day. Any time the Macarena came on over the intercom throughout the day, students teachers and visitors had to stop everything and dance! Well done to all! We had a great day!

Great start to our morning exercise this morning. Each class will get active in the morning for 5 to 10 minutes to wake up our bodies and brains before the school day begins! Well done to all!

Active Ideas

Don't forget to let us know if you have any ideas on how our school could be a more active place. Our ideas box is placed just inside the entrance of the school.
