Committee
Meet our new Active Flag Committee- they'll have a busy year ahead!

We are excited to announce our Active Schools Committee for the 2018/2019 year.

Children who were interested in joining the ASF committee were asked to write a short paragraph on why they wanted to be on the ASF committee. Our committee is made up of members from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. The committee members have been very busy this year. They were given many active roles such as organising the PE equipment store, labeling the store, designing and looking after the active notice board, checking the suggestions box and informing the other pupils on all Active Flag news and events. We have committee meetings and organise Active School events. We have also organised a very special active schools week.

Active Idea’s Box
The Active School Committee invite the children and parents to suggest ideas to make our school a more active place. We have placed a decorated idea’s box inside the front door of the school. Please feel free to share your ideas. :)

Spring Clean Up

Every year all children at Holy Family participate in a Spring clean. Mr. Dinnen organises a timetable and each class takes part. We clean up our school grounds and the older students do a clean up in the area outside the school.

Sporting Achievements

At assembly we acknowledge children's sporting achievements both in and out of school. Mr Horan congratulates the students and we like to display their photographs on our school blog and on our twitter account.
