Learn It LEGO Workshop Visited Our School
On Tuesday April 2nd we were delighted to welcome the Learn It LEGO workshop to our school. 3rd to 6th classes enjoyed engaging in a variety of workshops through practical and hands-on approaches. Students learned to take measurements, analyse data, make predictions, solve problems and design solutions. Every child in 3rd to 6th took part. They all thoroughly enjoyed working in teams building and testing their projects.

Guest Speaker Invited To School
We were extremely fortunate to have Mr Paul Darmody of Sapphire Engineering come to visit us today and give a presentation to 4th, 5th & 6th class about engineering. Mr Darmody discussed the different aspects of engineering, where engineering originated from, some of the oldest engineering products to the newest and most well known products. Mr Darmody's presentation was extremely insightful and interesting and the children thoroughly enjoyed the talk...some of the students are certainly aspiring engineers with their wonderful ideas.
Thanks again Mr Darmody.
Please see below his wonderful presentation.
